Finding Monkey Flower Villas / Getting To Koh Tao
From Bangkok, there are several ways to get to Koh Tao.
The fastest, and one of the easiest ways is to book a joint ticket through the Lomprayha Ferry Co., using their Solar-Air service, for a fast commuter flight to Chumphon, then the two hour Ferry boat ride to Koh Tao... Once you are on the Solar-Air plane, you do not have to think about anything, as they will guide your trip all the way to Koh Tao, where we will be waiting to pick you up.
Another way is to fly directly to Koh Samui...
There are hourly flights in and out of Koh Samui daily.
From Samui both Lomprayah, and the SeaTran ferries are good options to gets to Koh Tao, with each having (two departures each day, morning and afternoon). The SeaTran pier is closest to the airport and the popular Chaweng district, but both ferry boats are about the same speed and price. Please don't forget to let us know which boat you will be on, so we can meet you when you arrive on Koh Tao.http://www.lomprayah.com/E/contactus_bkk.htm
Another way to Koh Tao from Bangkok is the sleeper train to Chumphon, I recommend either the first class cabin, or the second class sleeper car (Lower berths are best!)... This is a fun and less expensive option, but requires you to wake up at about 5:00AM to depart the train once you reach Chumphon. There are also daily joint bus/ferry boat tickets from Bangkok each day, also through the Lomprayah ferry Co., and Seatran ferry Co... They both run pretty nice, comfortable, modern coaches with only one stop for a meal along the way to Koh Tao. This is the least expensive option, and the easiest to arrange last minute.http://www.railway.co.th/home/Default.asp?lenguage=Eng
Please let us know when and on which which ferry Co. you will be arriving on Koh Tao, and we will be there to pick you up!

Chumpon is the gateway to Southern Thailand.
